Daeva

daeva have an ancient history in Iranian culture, and whenever the Iranian arts and literature are intertwined, these daeva reveal the tragic story of modern humans plagued and conquered by these flashy and colorful demons. In Iranian literature, daeva are mirror images of existing humans and nature around them, and only when the sun rises upon human’s nature, their honor overshadows the devil, and daeva are tamed and obedient to men. In Iranian art and literature it is seen likewise that the devil is a collection of physical and earthen property lying in the human mind. From the beginning the creature’s life in nature and the pure character of humans in every age, was in battle with these panicked troops.
